2023. Targu Mures, Romania
While visiting one of the nursing homes in Targu Mures, I met elderly people who gave me insight into their life. These old women are all mentally and phisically ill and perhaps some of them are no longer alive but I am one of those lucky photographers who was able to take a last picture of them. Raw sadness and beautiful atmosphere. It was an unforgettable experience to talk to a woman who is more than 100 years old, but it is even better to have a photo series about these women for posterity.
